Thoughts of the Day
Like most people, I have a number of things diverting my attention from what I should be doing. I've enjoyed motivational reading for some time. This has led me to a hobby of collecting and sharing motivational quotes.
Every work day, I send out a new quote to a list of people, all who asked have to receive them. (Actually, there are some relatives on the list who most likely don't want them, but it's easier for them to get the quotes, than risk disappointing me by asking me not to send them.) The quotes are all short, but are thought provoking and motivational. I've been sending them out for over ten years. While I try not to send duplicates, a couple have snuck in. The total send will pass the 4800 mark in February 2018.
Some examples are:
Don't measure it and your people know you're not serious about delivering it. - Peter Drucker sent 8/15/06
You may forget how you behaved when the going got tough, but others won't. - Mark Burnett sent 4/25/05
You cannot get ahead while you are getting even.- Dick Amery sent 9/27/97
Love is true when you don't see eye to eye, but can still walk hand in hand. - From Bits & Pieces sent 5/9/99
Only those who risk going too far will ever know how far they can go.- From Good Stuff sent 1/9/2008
I will also, occasionally, send out longer motivational stories that people have sent me or that I've found in my reading.
For those who are interested in remembering a quote I've previously sent, if you can remember when it was sent, you can look it up on the following pages.

Use the same address to let me know if you'd like to be added to the list of people who receive them daily. There is no charge and you can cancel it anytime just by sending me an email.
